Requirements for Anglo-American Studies

While no courses have Prüfungsvorleistungen required by the new B.Ed. degree anymore, I encourage everyone to try and attend courses 4.1, 5.1, and 7.1 regularly before attempting the module 4, 5, and 7 exams.

Currently the Module 5 exam is a portfolio composed of two parts. The grade for the Anglo-American Studies part can be made up of the following components:

attending consultation sessions in groups,
teaching geography or history lessons in groups,
teaching topics lessons in groups,
preparing handouts and research papers as group and as individual work,
submitting lesson and research paper reviews as group work,
participating individually in the review and research paper feedback sessions as well as in Blackboard discussions.

Students who decide not to participate in the course as described above and who aren't part of groups can arrange other kinds of written assignments to be used for the AS part of the Module 5 portfolio exam. These alternatives will be published on Blackboard after all students in the course have approved of them. What's crucial is that all students feel that they are being treated fairly and have roughly the same amount of work for the AS part of their module portfolio exams - regardless of how they wish to participate in the course.
