Information for accepted authors

Registration to OGRW-2014

For each paper, at least one full registration (IAPR/Non-IAPR) of one of the authors to OGRW-2014 is necessary (as noted in the Call for Papers). The registration in our conference management system must be completed by November 15, 2014. Please note that a personal presentation of the paper by one of the authors is mandatory.

If multiple authors of one paper are attending OGRW-2014, each author must register to the conference.

As several questions have already reached us: Of course everyone attending the workshop must register and pay registration fees. One registration and payment does not cover for multiple persons!
Also, registration as a Ph.D. student does not cover for the publication of the paper (see text above). At least one author of the paper must have a full registration.

Final Submission for OGRW-2014

All accepted authors have to upload a final version of their contributions (extended abstract or full papers) until November 23, 2014, to the OGRW-2014 ConfTool. These submissions will be provided on a USB drive to all participants. Please note the following style guidelines:

  • Please include the reviewers' requests in your publications. The comments are available in the OGRW-2014 ConfTool.
  • Papers shall be formatted using the IEEE Manuscript Template. The template can be downloaded from the IEEE website and is available for both Latex and Microsoft Word environments (Latex users please use bare_conf.tex included in the ZIP file as the template). Please note that the page size for OGRW-2014 submissions is A4.
  • The suggested length of the final submissions is 6 pages (page number is not limited).
  • Please include at least the main authors contact data (e-mail-address) in the paper.

The full texts of papers (full papers), personally presented by one of the authors at the workshop, will be published in a special issue of the international peer reviewed journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis. Advances in Mathematical Theory and Applications" (Pleiades Publishing Ltd., distributed worldwide by SPRINGER, 2015) as a hard copy and electronic version. This applies to both as poster and as oral accepted papers. Instructions for the journal submission will follow after the workshop. Please note that for the journal there will be an additional (third) submission, where full papers are required.

Presentations

Papers accepted as oral presentation shall be presented in a talk of 20 minutes length in total. The presentation of invited papers may last 30 minutes. Accepted tutorials will have a length of 45 minutes.

Authors of contributions accepted as poster presentation must prepare a poster in size DIN A0 (841 mm (width) x 1189 mm (height)), print it out and bring it to the conference. One of the authors must present the poster in the assigned poster session slot. Boards and material for fixing the posters will be provided by the organizers.

Invitation letters and visa application

Registered participants will receive an invitation letter to OGRW-2014 by request in order to assist in obtaining travel funds and/or visa. Please note that the organizers of OGRW-2014 cannot offer to waive registration fees or provide any financial support.
