AGAS offers practical courses for students in which the abilities of the robots are further extended. During these courses the students design, develop, and test new software components and try out new hardware setups. The practical courses are supervised by a research associate.
Team homer@uniKoblenz
Each year new students participate in the practical courses and are engaged in the development of Lisa and TIAGo.These students form the team homer@UniKoblenz to participate at the RoboCup@Home. “homer” is short for “home robots” and is one of the participating teams that entirely consist of students.
Since our first participation in 2008 at the RoboCup German Open our team was able to qualify for the RoboCup World Championship each year.
