ICRA MMC Day 02 / 1.4m tower

We left the conference location late in the night and came back early in the morning. Today we had two rounds. In the first round we had a hardware issue. The Arduino that we are using in the lift shut down at one lifting up command such that the tower was destroyed and one cube tangled in the robot’s lift after falling. We canceled the run then.

In the second round we reached our maximum goal that we did set us based on our hardware architecture. In the end Maggie stacked 7 cubes high and brought 6 more cubes to the working area. In total we had 2550 points then. Which means that we are placed 7th after the first two rounds.

We are now trying to stack even higher but Maggie power is limited and the other teams perform technically very well.

In between the runs we had limited capacities to test and therefore visited the exhibition to have a few talks with companies and universities.

There was a booth from RoboCup where we had the opportunity to take a photo with the founder of RoboCup and the current vice president.
