Robot reassemling

Today in the morning we checked out from our Hostel. It was OKish but things like the locals that are using the showers as toilettes let us decide to move into a hotel. In between the check-out and check-in we had two hours where we visited a Hindu temple and we were able to follow a ceremony.

Then we went to have some food. Portions were much bigger then we expected. But very delicious. Then we went to the hotel and immediately installed our infrastructure and assembled the robot. As the robot is a prototype it is not that easy to assemble as Lisa.

After the robot was assembled we could start programming. We even brought cubes from Germany to be able to test. Space in the hotel is limited but we manage to test.

The robot is now up running. We had to reassemble the robot a bit wider to get into the cubes better. This then worked perfectly but the gripper was not able to grip the cubes because

of the new width. We then went into a hardware shop in china town. The visit was more like a visit on a flea market and we were able to find a m6 screw that is 2cm longer than our current cube. Perfect. The screw is already installed and we are testing the new setup! This might get a long night over here.
