We arrived, TIAGo arrived, Lisa partly arrived, Poster missing
After quite some hours of travel we arrived. First we went from Cologne to Munich, then from Munich to Toronto, took a very comfortable bus trip first over 6 hours to Ottawa then 3 hours of bus again to Montreal. Here we are now and I would say we are already synchronized with the timing here.
Sadly one of our bags stranded in Frankfurt, instead of Toronto, so we are now missing the complete Body of Lisa and most of the electronics and network of Lisa. Phew, we hope that we will get it in time. Currently Lisa is not operating. Of Course we will be able to trick around a bit to make Lisa partly functional but we would like to get the missing bag soon. Another downside is that Raphael doesn’t has any clothings, they were along with Lisa’s body.
After arriving, we went to the RoboCup facility and checked if TIAGo arrived. Back then he didn’t but two hours later we were informed with a proof in form of a picture that he arrived.
Now we tested the base of Lisa, which looked quite destroyed internally but the wiring seems so be fine. We are getting encoder values and status messages. To make it fully functional we need Lisa’s body.
Also we printed the Poster again which got lost in the airplane.
Tomorrow the competition starts. We are looking forward to it and hope that the missing parts arrive. Stay tuned and twist your thumbs!
