We qualified for the World Robot Summit

Beside preparing intensively for the upcoming RoboCup WorldCup, we have been qualified for the World Robot Summit (WRS) in Tokyo in October. We are happy about that. The WRS will be held during the Japanese Robotics Week.

We qualified in two discipline:

  • Partner Robot Challenge (Real Space) (16 teams)
  • Future Convenience Store Challenge (23 teams)

Here is a list of participating teams. Among them are also some of our well known friends from RoboCup like PUMAS, Happy Mini, Kame Rider …. It’s quite impressive that the WRS already has that much participants on the first episode.

We are looking forward to that, but first we concentrate on the RoboCup next week. TIAGo is already on it’s way and passed the german customs in Frankfurt after some troubles.
